About Us

PSE Contractors, formerly Phillips Southern Electric (PSE), is a contracting firm located in Wichita, KS. We are a family owned and operated business incorporated in 1962. Since our inception we have been the contractor of choice to perform electrical work on a wide scope of industrial/commercial, utility, and civil projects. For the past 30 years we’ve focused our efforts on being the industry leader in the installation and maintenance of traffic signals, highway lighting systems, and Intelligent Transportation Systems. In addition, we have a Utility Division that offers Construction, Maintenance, and Emergency response for, but not limited to, Electric and Communication facilities.

We have extremely talented and trained employees that range from project managers, licenses electricians, journeyman lineman, electronic technician, Cisco Certified Technicians, general construction Forman, and heavy equipment operators. With our vast fleet of equipment, we have the ability to drill large diameter foundations, direction drill large spans, and erect equipment to heights over 100’. This allows us the flexibility to be available at all times for our customers, drive our own schedules, and be extremely competitive.
